Optional homework for extra points or offered grade

With the optional homework you can get extra points for the final exam, or if the solution is complex enough, an offered grade for the course.

In this homework you are required to build a business intelligence system (from existing tools, not write one yourself) and demonstrate its usage in practice. The system should cover the whole set of functionalities including data loading, transforming, storage, and visualization. Please use appropriate, modern technologies that satisfy the requirements of a business intelligence system.

The example of such a system is demonstrated during one of the lectures. A system of that complexity is worth extra points. In order to get an offered grade, you must build a more complex system (e.g. include multiple data sources and combine them; use complex ETL processes that include transformations; create appealing visualizations and draw conclusions from the dataset).

Submission: present the working system to one of the instructors until the end of the semester (no later than the middle of the week for repetitions).
