Z-ENG: Matlab GUI tool to determine performance parameters of physical unclonable functions
Physical unclonable function (PUF) is a hardware security primitive which operates as a one-way function that gives a unique output for the same input provided to each PUF instance. Consequently, PUFs output can be used as a "digital fingerprint" to identify electronic devices/systems uniquely.
Three performance metrics are commonly used to evaluate the performance of different types of PUF, which are: Uniqueness, Reliability, and Uniformity. Each metric has its own equation to calculate its value.
This project aims to create a MATLAB GUI tool that accepts the results of PUF output and determines its Uniqueness, Reliability, and Uniformity.
