Téma leírása
Pose estimation refers to computer vision techniques that detect human figures in images and videos, so that one could determine for example the position of the head, hands, chest, and determine if a body part appear on a certain image. The proposed project aims to develop an innovative application leveraging computer vision techniques to estimate the pose of humans, specifically designed for surgical use. This application will be optimized for Microsoft HoloLens, enhancing the surgeon's ability to visualize and monitor important landmarks during surgery. By estimating the pose of patients in real-time and presenting this information through Microsoft HoloLens, the application will assist surgeons in making more informed decisions during surgery.
Project goal:
-
Pose Estimation: Develop a robust and accurate pose estimation model capable of detecting key points on human body but specifically on the chest of a patient in real-time.
-
HoloLens Compatibility: Optimize the application to work seamlessly on Microsoft HoloLens, providing a heads-up display for surgeons in the operating room.
-
Real-time Feedback: Provide real-time feedback to the surgeon, ensuring that the detected points on the chest are continuously updated.
-
Accuracy and Reliability: Ensure high accuracy and reliability of pose estimation to assist in surgical procedures effectively.
-
User-Friendly Interface: Design an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows surgeons to interact with the application effortlessly.
