In today's rapidly evolving software development landscape, automation testing plays a critical role in enhancing efficiency, reducing manual effort, and ensuring product quality. This project focuses on exploring the Maestro tool, released in July 2022, to develop an innovative, custom solution that allows a single test to run on both Android and iOS applications.

 

1. Develop Informational Website
• Create a website that outlines the features, benefits, and value of adopting Maestro for mobile test automation.
• Showcase the migration process and compare Maestro's advantages over older tools like Appium.
2. Create a Proof of Concept (PoC)
• Select an existing application with both Android and iOS versions.
• Develop a set of automated tests using Maestro, demonstrating the ability to run a single test across both platforms.
• Highlight how this approach saves time, reduces complexity, and lowers costs.
3. CI/CD Pipeline Integration
• Integrate the automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline to ensure they run as part of nightly builds or regular deployment processes.
• Automatic reporting and alert mechanisms to track test performance and outcomes.
4. Explore Integration with Hyperscalers
• Investigate the possibilities of integrating Maestro with hyperscalers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Assess the potential for scalability, cloud-based test execution, and leveraging cloud infrastructure for enhanced performance.
