In today’s digital and interconnected world, teams need more than just simple task lists, they need intelligent systems that adapt to their workflow. This project focuses on the development of an intelligent real-time collaboration system that enhances traditional task management by integrating AI-driven prioritization and workload balancing. The system intelligently suggests task assignments, predicts potential delays, and helps teams focus on the most important work.

The system allows teams to manage tasks within projects, communicate in real time, and assign responsibilities effectively. Users can create and update tasks, track progress, and collaborate through instant updates and messaging. It also supports profile management and secure access, ensuring organized and connected teamwork experience.

The platform will be implemented as a web-based application, providing seamless real-time task management and communication across teams. It will feature an intuitive interface built with React and Node.js backend, ensuring instant synchronization of updates, messages, and task changes across all connected users.

To ensure reliability, scalability, and security, the system will incorporate modern practices such as containerization, infrastructure automation, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines. User authentication, role-based access, and secure data handling will be central to the design, supported by a PostgreSQL database for persistent storage.

Tasks to be Performed:

Web Application Development (Real-Time) – Build the system using React and Node.js, with Socket.IO to enable real-time task updates and team communication.
User Management & Security – Implement JWT-based authentication, role-based access control, and an invitation system for team connections.

Database & Data Handling – Configure and manage a PostgreSQL database to store user profiles, tasks, comments, and communication records.

AI Integration – Develop intelligent features for task prioritization, workload balancing, and delay prediction to support smarter team collaboration.

Testing & Deployment – Ensure reliability with automated testing (Robot Framework) and deploy on AWS-native infrastructure with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Helm.

CI/CD Pipeline – Set up continuous integration and deployment using GitHub Actions or ArgoCD for automated builds, testing, and scaling.
