The goal of this project is to create a platform that bridges the gap between customers and skilled professionals for home repair services. Customers often face challenges finding reliable service providers, comparing their rates, and checking their availability.
The project aims to create a website to streamline this process by offering a user-friendly interface where customers can:
1. Easily choose a service (plumbing, electrical, gardening, etc.), browse providers with ratings, rates, and reviews, check real-time availability, book instantly, and leave feedback after completion.
2. Users get an embedded AI chatbot for quick, on-demand help directly within the platform.
3. The website needs to introduce a lightweight admin page that allows administrators to view and manage bookings efficiently.
4. It should implement automated booking confirmation and cancellation emails to improve communication and user experience.
5. The platform is enhanced with a streamlined CI/CD workflow using GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, where each code push triggers automated tests, builds a container image, updates application pods, and applies Kubernetes health checks to ensure deployments are safe and users immediately see reliable changes.
By integrating these features, the platform provides transparency and convenience, ensuring customers can quickly find reliable help while enabling service providers to efficiently manage their bookings and expand their clientele.
