The project aims to develop a software application that assists in recruitment by automatically screening and ranking resumes. Using natural language processing methods, the system will extract relevant information such as skills, education, and work experience from resumes and compare them to job descriptions. The solution will implement similarity-based and machine learning approaches to rank candidates according to their suitability for a given position. A user interface will allow recruiters to upload job postings and resumes, and receive ranked results with extracted key details. The project emphasizes automation, fairness, and measurable performance through evaluation against ground-truth rankings.
