Robotic arms are widely used for repetitive manipulation tasks, where abnormal movements, collisions, excessive loads, mechanical looseness, or actuator faults can reduce reliability and potentially damage the robot or its surroundings. Early detection of such conditions is important for safe operation and preventive maintenance. This project aims to develop a multisensor anomaly-detection system for a 3D-printed 6-DOF robotic arm equipped with servo motors. The system will be based on an Arduino UNO and external sensors that collect motion and electrical data during arm operation. The recorded measurements will be analyzed to identify deviations from normal movement patterns and detect abnormal operating conditions.
